Jennifer Waber Bergeron Promoted to Universal Technical Institute Campus President in Mooresville

MOORESVILLE, N.C. - Universal Technical Institute, Inc. (NYSE: UTI), a leading provider of technical training, today named Jennifer Waber-Bergeron president of its NASCAR Technical Institute (NASCAR Tech) campus in Mooresville, N.C. Waber-Bergeron, who joined UTI in 2002, is responsible for the overall leadership of the campus. 

NASCAR Tech is the only school of its kind that combines automotive training and a NASCAR-approved technologies curriculum into one program. Students learn the basics of engine construction, lubrication systems, chassis fabrication, dyno testing, racing theory principles, NASCAR rules and regulations, as well as the teamwork needed in today's automotive and racing industries. NASCAR Tech is also known for its outstanding 90 percent job placement rate after graduation.

Prior to this role, Waber-Bergeron held several positions with NASCAR Tech including housing coordinator, student affairs advisor, student services director and, most recently, as director of student experience. She also served as the interim campus president at UTI’s Exton, Penn. campus. 

Before joining UTI, Waber-Bergeron was the assistant director of education and an instructor for the Sylvan Learning Center in Mooresville, NC. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont.
